A Sympathy Card and some Birth Cards

Like most card makers I find Sympathy Cards are some of the most difficult to make.  This one was created in MCS using some backing paper from a JS Heavenly Cards cd and imported into MCS and then the images from MCS Paperwords cd added.  Mounted on purple mirri, and a flora doodle flower added.

I also had the pleasure of making the following cards -  My eldest great niece gave birth yesterday to a little boy.

I imported the image into MCS and made the greeting the same colour as the edge of the blanket.  It was then copied into Publisher and the initials were added to the blanket (found it easier to do this way).  Decoupaged twice - once with the baby, pillow and blanket, and then just the blanket, and mounted completed image onto mirri.   Added some embellishments from Baby Love to finish it off

This one is for my nephew, the Baby's Grandfather created as you will probably gather using the Forever Friends cd - the background of the image is actually pale yellow although it doesn't show up that well.

and finally this one for my sister-in-law.  (Just wish my brother was still alive for this to have been his one too).  Again made with Forever Friends cd.

Stunning cards Mags, I love them all. The sympathy card is just so dignified and simple. As for the birth cards you've just bettered your best.

I'm sure your brother would have been so very proud. Have a Hugxxx
