This was one of them - some one-stroke leaves painted with acrylic paint in a couple of greens. I then brushed the watercolour card with a little blue ink, and created a sentiment in Craft Artist. The sentiment and the edge of the topper were edges with a little dark blue ink.</p>Magshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05812228969631851021noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8271154415669156139.post-2865973663320313492022-10-09T09:30:00.000+01:002022-10-09T09:30:00.174+01:00MDF Beach Hut Boxes<p> Oops found something else I had forgotten to blog about - hopefully I have caught up now. I will try and make the effort to do some more crafting and to blog more regularly again. Sorry.<p> Apologies for being awol - not been up to par recently - I have dabbled with a few things that are still work in progress. My eyes have been giving me a lot of trouble, and I struggle to see things sometimes. I am ok outside in the sunshine, but when it is overcast I struggle. Consquently I haven't felt up to crafting.<br />I have made a bit of an effort this week, and made some cards, which I will share over the next few days.<br /><br />This is the first one. Created in Craft Artist (CAP2). Card for a train and gnome enthusiast.</p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivJKUzAvwT623b_-4Aq1mK2anjqEAdWA7qvSo1-JoHdsRfIvK-K93DWJ_7WI3qB1sHb2yc-lnEctK2Ih1ymuHqyKx8nCFAGtW95RY7CtOc02GuPCMA7SLWnYKNeh4HjscVXFTrycf-ggXcK3KuG5VibsTyCBcldsp_-7QwLlehS58NJZPhiuP-9e9naA/s2507/100_1484.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2255" data-original-width="2507" height="288" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEivJKUzAvwT623b_-4Aq1mK2anjqEAdWA7qvSo1-JoHdsRfIvK-K93DWJ_7WI3qB1sHb2yc-lnEctK2Ih1ymuHqyKx8nCFAGtW95RY7CtOc02GuPCMA7SLWnYKNeh4HjscVXFTrycf-ggXcK3KuG5VibsTyCBcldsp_-7QwLlehS58NJZPhiuP-9e9naA/s320/100_1484.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p></p>Magshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05812228969631851021noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8271154415669156139.post-77066431382646111822022-06-19T09:00:00.001+01:002022-06-19T09:00:00.197+01:00Ceramic Mandala<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvT05RpC2pAMl9Ma3nGM5Bmr3cN_7vDxn1ZpQHruFdyfy6GzB9F8e0-SdjNpIlO2g34UJNqeBW6c-AQHf6QZf4sUuPbRYBXDl4mWmnFbYwnrqxVgdpcCUQt_o-W18L8BM1DvCej5Tw3-wke1mReo0wm4inuljywxfKsuwsT0JHUgrhI2rVw7wYB-WCeQ/s2284/100_1437.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2284" data-original-width="2010" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvT05RpC2pAMl9Ma3nGM5Bmr3cN_7vDxn1ZpQHruFdyfy6GzB9F8e0-SdjNpIlO2g34UJNqeBW6c-AQHf6QZf4sUuPbRYBXDl4mWmnFbYwnrqxVgdpcCUQt_o-W18L8BM1DvCej5Tw3-wke1mReo0wm4inuljywxfKsuwsT0JHUgrhI2rVw7wYB-WCeQ/s320/100_1437.JPG" width="282" /></a></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"> Another craft ticked off my "crafts to try" bucket list. Gluten and dairy free cupcakes made with her favourite salted caramel icing sugar.<br /><br />She then made the frosting (dairy free buttercream) under my guidance, learning how to make sure it was light and smooth. She then divided it into three, and colored one tub red, one blue and one white using Sugar and Crumbs Colour pop colours. <br /><br />I showed her how to feel an icing bag, and gave a quick demonstration on how to use the nozzles we chose. I haven't made a trifle in years. It was just a simple one - swiss roll to line the dish (family heirloom of course!), the middle was then filled with raspberries and a raspberry jelly poured over it. When set I poured over cooled custard, and when that had set I topped it with some vegan elmlea that I had left over from making vegan icecream. A few strawberries and choc drops to finish. <br />Unfortunately because the custard wasn't dairy free I couldn't share it with the family - so had to eat it all myself!
