Card for a nephew

With the traumatic events of the past few days (although we did go ahead with the family celebration lunch for my 45 wedding anniversary as organised by my husband before he died, and we had a really lovely day in the circumstances), I nearly forgot it was one of my nephews birthdays this week, so this was a very quick card.   He used to be in the Navy and now works at the airport  I am hoping he was a Bagpuss fan too!  (wasn't everybody?.  I know my children were.)

A day of Great Sadness

Today I lost the love of my life, my soul mate, my funny best friend for 52 years, and husband for the past 45 years and five days.

Sudden and unexpected   I am devastated to say the least.

Anniversary Card

Card topper I made for my husband for our anniversary.  (Just realised that this photo is not of the finished card - as finished card had some embellishments added)

The lovely eterniity  ring my hubby bought me

Glorious bouquet received from my daughter - she couldn't get blue so chose the colours of my wedding bouquet.

Sapphire Wedding

It is my sapphire wedding today, and this is the cake I made (albeit we won't be cutting into it until next week, when all the family get together.

The flowers we made with cold porcelain, and airbrushed as was the decoration around the cake - the first time I have attempted to airbrush using a stencil
