About Me

My photo
Mags
I never considered myself crafty, but when I think back I used to make all my own clothes, and as a child we made rag rugs etc. Although I have never been a great fan of knitting and crochet, although I can do it if pushed! I always enjoyed cake decorating even in my early teens, and wanted to be demonstrator when I left school, but it wasn't to be until in my 40s I taught cake decorating at Adult Education for many years - both sugarpaste and royal icing. I loved making sugar flowers. I discovered card making when my daughter became a demonstrator for a stamp company. Now that I am retired, I am discovering more and more crafts - jewellery making, felting (needle and wet), one stroke painting, paverpol, and now using the last two for up-cycling. My daughter also loves crafting and the granddaughters are getting the "bug". I also enjoy researching the family's trees. So you know where to come if you want some research done. The biggest problem is that there are not enough hours in the day to try everything!
