I had to make one of those difficult cards today for a friend, whose husband died today. I didn't want to make it too formal, as although relatively sudden, following a recent fall, and a heart attack, he had had a good life and was 93. There is a subtle reference to their Scottish heritage in the little tartan ribbons in the centre of the flowers.
I was originally going to create it all in CAP2, but couldn't find the sort of images I wanted. So opted for some hybrid crafting, and just created the insert in CAP.
R.I.P. Frank. We never met, but I knew so much about you. A kind, gentle, life-loving man. xxx
