 Just a simple Thank You card using a Clarity die and some of their printed parchment.

Birthday Card

 

Sorry I seem to have been awol for a while - crafting has been on the back burner so to speak for a while, but after all these months of lockdown - I have been Out Out, and even Away Away.  (I had a lovely weekend away on the Isle of Wight with my son last week -  Lovely weather, brilliant food, live music and dancing!   I don't often get to spend time with just my son - in fact I can't remember ever doing so before).  I confess it has taken me a quite a few days to get back to normal - whatever that is!

I did find a smidgen of mojo and manage to make this card this week.  As it was for a male, I went completely abstract with this Clarity die.  I coloured my card with various inks before die-cutting.   I felt it needed something else in the way of a border, and in my stash I had this border that I had cut from some Clarity paper, which blended well with the colours I had used.   Having attached diecut to te card, I added a bit of glue and glitter.  The words were printed in Craft Artist, and then back with a piece of the card I had coloured..

Another Card with the Doodling Dies

  Just another simple card using one of the circle doodling dies to cut into the card.  I then die cut the butterfly image from Clarity Designer paper and adhered it to the centre.

"Wot" Birthday Card

 Are any of you old enougt to remember the Chad "Wot no?" cartoons.   Well I was remembering the way my dad was always drawing these; so I was inspired to create a card with variation of the cartoon for a very good friend who has a big birthday coming up!

I used the new dies from Clarity to create the punched square an circle and created the central image in Craft Artist.

The insert says " .... how old? another Birthday?     OK it's a bit cheeky, but he knows me well!

Blue and Green Anniversary Card

Back ground paper and dark blue mirri card from my stash.  Die embellishment was from my monthly Clarity membership die cut from pale green pearlised card  to patch the green in the background paper.

Parchment and Die Birthday Card.

I suddenly realised I need a birthday card for the weekend.   I already had this die cut image in my stash, so I used the new picot edge square dies from Clarity and cut a piece of Clarity  parchment to go behind it.   I decided to make it slightly bigger, and then used the matching groovy plate to emboss some lines around the edge.   Having stuck the backing paper and the image on the card, I then got my mapping pen and Pergamano Sticky Ink, and highlighted a few places, and then sprinkled som Perga-Glitter over.   ( I think you can just about see the hints of glitter on the card)

Sympathy Card

I do love my new Clarity dies - they are so versatile.  I cut out the lily one in black card, and applied double-sided adhesive behind it and then applied some of the Clarity silvery gold leaf, and stuck it onto a plain white card.   Printed out the sentiment and mounted that on matching black card/
