Making a start on Christmas Cards - 2

Although I struggle sometimes with my eyes these days, I did wat to try and do some stamping on Christmas Cards.

I used a Studio Light Just Lou stamp, which I thought was a modern take on Christmas Trees.  The top one was stamped and then coloured with Mica Magic, and the bottom one was stamped and coloured with Cadence Hybrid Metallic paints.  As I had an idea of trying to paint some cards, this has sort of combined the two, and I needed to keep it simple so that I could see what I was doing!  I also love these metallic paints.

This is a prototype for some of my Christmas cards (and yes I have seen the error in the sentiment - which should read Greetings with an "s").

I was messing about with idea using a candle and then remembered one of my husband's favourite sayings from a Two Ronnies sketch, and it sort of went from there.   I am sure he is up their chuckling his head off.  It is definitely a family joke, as he would often be heard quoting it.   I trust recipients will work our the joke!
