Have you missed me? Sorry.

Apologies for being awol - not been up to par recently - I have dabbled with a few things that are still work in progress.   My eyes have been giving me a lot of trouble, and I struggle to see things sometimes.  I am ok outside in the sunshine, but when it is overcast I struggle.  Consquently I haven't felt up to crafting.
I have made a bit of an effort this week, and made some cards, which I will share over the next few days.

This is the first one.  Created in Craft Artist (CAP2).  Card for a train and gnome enthusiast.

Floral Birthday card

Experimenting with some Pretty  Gets Gritty stamps from my stash.  I wanted something a bit spring-like.  Background coloured with blue and green Artistry inks to represent grass and sky, with a little purple in the corners of the topper to reflect some of the colours used in the flowers, and topper also edged with purple.

It does look more effective in real life - I am getting useless at take photos!

Mindful Doodle Card

Firstly apologies the clarity of the photo - couldn't quite get a good one.    The background paper and the abstract doodle image were from Lou Withers first "mindful moodling" collection.   (At last I plucked up courage to cut into it!)  I also used on of the stamps down the righthand edge and painted it with pearlised watercolour paint.   I then stamped the sentiment with white embossing powder.

You probably can't see it in the photo, but |I also edged the "doodle" image and the background paper with Mica Magic.

Dream

I used a background paper from my stash, and added the two die cuts (Sweet Dixie - I think the paper came with the dies too) that I coloured with Mica Magic  It is for the same person as the new home card, and I wanted to reflect that her birthday will be in her new forever home.

Slightly out of my comfort zone

I am not normally a "yellow" person, and very rarely do a card with that as the primary colour, but for once I have.  I used this stamp from my stash - I am pretty sure it was from a set of stamps in an IndgoBlu magazine.

I stamped it on Academia drawing and watercolour card, and painted it with water colors, finishing it off with a yellow background.  I also stamped the single flower from the same set of stamps, and water coloured that too, an stamped the sentiment.   I then used some  yellow Craft Artist Mica magic to edge the card, and added a smidgen of a blue with the same for the rose to give it a slight shadow.
