Painted Anniversary Card

This was the other little card I painted yesterday - attempting to paint a little mountain scene in the style of Bob Ross

Painted Birthday Card

I do find men's cards difficult, so I tried a little experiment with a couple of cards today.   This was one of them - some one-stroke leaves painted with acrylic paint in a couple of greens.   I then brushed the watercolour card with a little blue ink, and created a sentiment in Craft Artist.  The sentiment and the edge of the topper were edges with a little dark blue ink.

MDF Beach Hut Boxes

Oops found something else I had forgotten to blog about - hopefully I have caught up now.    I will try and make the effort to do some more crafting and to blog more regularly again.   (However, having just had some painting done in the house, including the craft room/office with a mega tidy up of stash - there is no knowing whether I will be able to find anything now - rofl!  I have  renamed his room "The Emporium"

Anyway these are two little boxes I painted from Crafty Devils, and are perfect to hiding odds and ends in the bathroom and cloakroom.

I confess I was quite pleased with the painting effect I achieved for the slatted walls - amazing what a little bit of pencil shading can do!

Flower Wreaths - Work in Progress

These are all work in progress and I may change my mind on how they are completed - The great thing is that I can change them about and add different elements as the mood takes me - or match them to the current season.

All the flowers from the previous blog and the wreath elements from this one - are all from Forever Flowerz.

Silk Flowers

One craft I have been trying recently is making up silk flower kits and wreaths, as they are something my eyes can cope with.

Rather than put a different picture up for the next few days, I am grouping these in one blog.

Begonias - a free pack of flowers with another order.

My absolute favourite - large peonies in pink, dark pink, and creamy/yellow.   The are so realistic!  The family all wanted some - so rather than have arguments on who got what colour - I gave them mixed bouquets!

A few red poinsettias - I have also got some white ones, plus a wrath to put some on - will share that at a later day.

Painted Roses Birthday Card

I am going to try and post a few bits that I have made between my posting in July and the one yesterday.  This was a hand=painted card I did for a family member.

Simple one stroke painting on black card.

Gosh - has it been that long? Plus 30th Wedding Anniversary Card

Me bad - I haven't blogged in ages - OK - I haven't don a lot, due to my failing eyesight, but am hoping that this might be rectified this week when I have laser treatment on one of my eyes.   Time will tell.

This is my most recent effort a card requested by a friend for his wife on the occasion of their Pearl Anniversary.

Obviously with my eyesight these days I kept it fairly simple, and in fact raided some of my stash of ribbons and pearls etc that I rarely use these days.   The little  topper was hand-painted by me, and fetured flowers what were in his wife's wedding bouqet.   He was delighted with it - so hope his wife is too!
To make it a bit more special - I made a box to put the card in.
