Butterfly card

I love this image from Joanna Sheen's Jane Netley Mayhew Collection Part 2 CD, and it seemed just right for an autumn birthday.  The matching backing paper was imported into Publisher and the sentiment added.  (To get the right colour for the sentiment, I imported the main image into MCS and picked out a colour for the wording that I wanted to match the butterfly; took a note of the RBG numbers and changed the colour in Publisher accordingly).   Although you can't see it I also highlighted a few bits with clear sakura stardust.

As I mentioned before I am trying to use up some stash, so once again some peel-offs added as finishing touchs, in addition to revisiting some of my older CDs!

Another Fishy Card

Made this card for a pal for her nephew.  The image is from JS Jane Netley Mayhew Collection, and I have also used the matching backing papers for the side squares.   However, using Publisher, I also used an image from the Frame Section and resized it and the fish to create the main image.  I couldn't resist putting the words I did on the sentiment for this keen fisherman!

Just a  basic cream card  and everything matted and layered on gold mirri and brown Papermania Shimmer Card.

This card isn't actually needed until beginning of  July, but as I am supposed to be doing some work for a Children's Craft Catalogue over next couple of weeks, once the items arrive,  I thought I had better get ahead.  I have also got to do a cake to go with the card - although it will be a joint male and female 60th cake.  Inspiration has not struck for that yet!  (Do fish and flowers go together??).

A Fishy Card

Love the colours in this card.   Papermania Shimmer textured cardstock.   Topper (mounted on turquoise glitter card) and the matching backing papers are from the first JS Jane Netley Mayhew Collection cd.  Backing papers mounted on silver mirri. Sentiment created in Publisher and also mounted on turquoise glitter card.   I also made a matching insert in publisher using the fish backing paper and the topper picture.
