Floral card

Today's card is a stamped one using this month's stamp from the Clarity Club.   The background was created with Artistry inks through a Sweet Poppy metal stencil, and then the image stamped in the "circle" with Versafine Clair, and then water coloured with Artistry inks.  The Sentiment was a Julie Hickey stamp.

I always do inserts for my card, and for once I am sharing an example.   This is the one for this card - it was mainly produced in Craft Artist.   I always doe a border and then trim this with a wavy edged trimmer.   I normally put an image from Craft Artist on the left-hand side, but on this occasion I stamped an image using Card-io stamps, as they complimented the front of the card,

Illustrated letter card

Hi there, thanks for popping in.   I am afraid I have been a bit lazy on the crafting front this month.  I am putting it down to the weather and the dark days we seem to have had, which isn't that conducive to painting or colouring etc.,  and of course the continued boredom of lockdown  They eyes just don't like it!   However, the days are getting brighter, I have had my three-monthly B12 jab so the energy has returned, and last week I had my first covid vaccine.

However, I have managed to make some cards this week and this is the first of a few.    This was created using some new Clarity Stamps.   Am loving these new decorated letters.  Not so good for men's cards as a bit flowery, but great for female ones.

Birthday Cards - Variation on a Theme 3

..... and the last one in this little trio of variations.   This has proved a really useful stamp, and the fact that the money from its purchase went to Children in Need is a great feeling.

This time in addition to the jumper stamps, I used a little butterfly from IndigoBlu.

Also may I take this opportunity to wish you all a Very Happy and Prosperous New Year and here's hoping that we get back to some sort of normality in 2021. x
