Nearly forgot to share this one - using Clarity stamps, a little Artistry Ink and gel pens.

Crafting with a Granddaughter

My youngest granddaughter came to craft a few days ago, and I thought I would share this tote bag she painted of a frog and mushrooms.

She also did some tie-dyeing of some silk scarves for her mum and grandmother for Christmas.  (Apologies or the poor picture, but we forgot to take a photo of them before she wrapped them., but hopefully you can get the gist of the designs.)

They were died using the microwave method  - she really liked how quick it was.   The last time she did tie-dyeing was a few years back on holiday, when she did the technique on a T-shirt and we had to leave it in a plastic bag overnight to "prove" before rinsing it.   One and a half minutes in the microwave was all it took.   Downside - I had to iron it for her! - lol!

.... and on that note of Christmas presents,  I would like to wish all my readers the greetings of the Season - whether you say Happy Christmas, Happy Holidays or whatever.   Stay safe.

Birthday Card

 I've had a few birthday cards to get ahead with over the festive period, and this will be the last for a little while.   Again a simple stamped card.   Again Lynette Jasper stamps, and coloured with gel pens.

 None of us like doing these, even more so near Christmas.   This one was created in Craft Artist.

Birthday Card

Stamped and embossed flower.   Background done with various Artistry Inks blended together.  Sentiment added and a wiggly line border added.

Another simple card with a freebie stamp.   Background done with blue Artistry Ink through a stencil, and image stamped in Versafine Claire.

Christmas Card

 

A quick Christmas card for somebody I missed off the list.   (Again I think they were IndigoBlu stamps - that cam with one of their magazines).   Coloured with gel pens and Artistry Ink for the tree.

Butterfly Birthday Card

 

 Just a simple stamped image of a butterfly (IndigoBlu I think).   Stamped onto card, and then stamped again on to blue coloured paper and extra colour added.

I really like doing these - this one is a mixture of blue and purple resin with glitter and lilac casting compound.

Needle felted Gnome

 

 Having finished making Christmas cards and most of the Christmas presents - I had a bit of "me" time, and played with a gnome felting kit I had in my stash.    There will be more! 😀  Gnomes seem to be very on trend this year!

Christmas cakes

 

  

This years Christmas cakes.  A very simple design this year  with a Nordic design.  The two in the front are covered in sugar paste, and the one at the back is royal iced.  All rich fruit cakes.
The gnomes were Katy Sue molds, and were painted with edible dusts.   The trees around the sides were Patchwork cutters.

Resin "Jack Frost"

Another resin and casting compound "Jack Frost".    Pleased with this one, as being the second one, I was able to see the details of the one already cast when it came to dusting the mold with mica.  Then filled with clear resin and backed with white casting compound.

 

Another phone holder!

A green/blue phone holder.   Resin topcoat with blue and green mica and various glitters, backed with blue and green casting compound with blue and green mica, and poured together to mix the colours.
It is a bit more teal in colour in real life.

 Card created using Clarity Stamps and a sentiment from my stash,   Coloued sith Zebra Doodler'z gelt sticks.  Doodled corners with black glitter gel stick.
