Geode - a bit more work in progress

The title says it all - a bit  more work in progress.  I have added some ink  to the central glass chippings and a little varnish mixed with pigment powder to the next  segment, with a few drops of gold alcohol ink.  (This may change at some point as I have bought more glass chippings to add now)

 I though I would shae this photo of a piece of amethyst I own to show where I am trying to go with this project.
