I do like this new medium to work with - and will be doing a lot more. I made another owl (mainly because I couldn't find the first owl I did using this compound - it has vanished off the face of the earth!) This time I used a mix of pigments to get a light chocolate colour, and then added gilding wax over the top.
I also tried a technique of dribbling a colour into the mold first.
